SOMA Parts
Trifecta 'S' Approach
Somatic Parts Work
At the foundation of the TrueCore Approach is Somatic Parts Work, integrating the discovery flow from Inner Relationship Focusing and Somatic Internal Family Systems (IFS) models. This modality honors the intelligence of the body and multiplicity within, recognizing that inner “parts” or aspects of one’s psyche and body carry emotions, memories, and protective functions. Through mindful somatic awareness, clients learn to approach these inner parts with curiosity and compassion, allowing them to express what they’ve held beneath the surface. This relational process builds a bridge between body sensations, emotions, feelings and inner narratives and stories (programming), creating a safe and embodied pathway for deep and on-going healing, and radical acceptance of one’s parts, their roles ( old and some new; post intentional exercises ), and Self-Energy awareness.
Science of Deep Emotional Processing
and New Beliefs
The second pool of TrueCore focuses on the science of emotional regulation and neuroplasticity, leaning into deep states of safety and relaxation that enable traumatic reprocessing or the awareness of limiting beliefs while within an empathetic and safe container.. Sessions often include the client lying supine on a treatment table, supported by binaural sound frequencies, gentle breathwork, and gentle somatic techniques and exercises
to engage and hold the parasympathetic nervous system. In this deeply relaxed state, the brain’s theta-wave activity supports the safe retrieval of stored emotional memories, and potentially re-patterning. Clients can explore and reframe outdated beliefs from a grounded, embodied state. Some factors considered are felt sense, breath, and heart rate.
Spiritual Influences
of the Chickasaw & Cherokee
Drawing inspiration from the Chickasaw and Cherokee traditions, the third pool emphasizes simple rituals and symbolic acts that honor the cycles of letting go and renewal. Practices such as offering breath to the four directions, using natural elements (stone, water, or smoke) for cleansing, or guided visualizations of returning energy to the earth are used to help clients let go of unwanted beliefs, energy, or ancestral burdens. These rituals reconnect individuals with the sacredness of life. The healing extends beyond the individual, and includes the collective consciousness and ancestral realms.
